Oliver is a seasoned Environmental Scientist, and currently he is the Chief & Managing Consultant. He holds n MSc in Industrial Ecology & Environmental Management (from the University of Zimbabwe) and a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Environmental Sciences, Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations and Certificates for OHSAS 18001: 2007 & SAZ ISO 14001:2004, Climate Change & Business and Solar PV System Design & Installation (from SIRDC). For over ten (10) years, Oliver participated as an environmental scientist in more than eighty (80) ESIA studies. He then directed and managed more than hundred (100) ESIAs, five (5) baseline and three (3) feasibility studies on water, aqua-culture, infrastructure, waste management, telecoms, and mining projects. He deeply understands social safeguards through his exposure to World Bank and AfDB funded projects. Oliver sits on the Environmental Professionals Council of Zimbabwe (EPCOZ) board as the current President after serving as the Vice President (Admin) from 2016 to 2020. He is also a part-time lecturer at Women’s University in Africa (WUA); where he facilitates a number of environmental science related modules. He is a champion for; Green Economy, Circular Economy, Cradle to Cradle Designs, Industrial Symbiosis, Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDs) and other topical sustainability tools.
